EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

About the Opportunity
As Senior Advisor Transformation, you will be at the centre of our journey supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives by applying and embedding practical, fit-for-purpose change management frameworks, tools and methodologies. You will work in close partnership with project teams, business leaders and senior executives to ensure change is well planned, people impacts are understood and communication, engagement, readiness and adoption activities are effectively coordinated. This is a high-impact role operating in a dynamic, high-visibility environment, where your work will directly influence how successfully EnergyCo transitions to new systems, processes and ways of working.

About You
You are a capable and resilient transformation or change professional with demonstrated experience in large, complex environments such as state or federal government, major corporations, institutions or consultancies. You are comfortable operating in high-pressure, high-volume settings and you are adept at balancing competing priorities while supporting senior executives and managing highly confidential information. You bring strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and are confident facilitating workshops, navigating sensitive or contentious issues and maintaining momentum through uncertainty. Pragmatic and adaptable, you know that change can be hard and you are motivated by helping leaders and teams build the capability and resilience required to embed sustainable, organisation-wide transformation.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources, learning and development or program and project management or equivalent experience.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
