- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $149,739 - $173,174 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
Join the Strategic Procurement Advisory team at DCCEEW as a Procurement Business Partner and play a key role in driving innovative, value-driven procurement solutions that promote sustainability and align with departmental objectives.
As a trusted advisor on all procurement matters, you will partner with stakeholders to plan, develop, and source the goods and services needed to achieve business goals. You will design and implement forward-thinking procurement strategies, secure optimal commercial outcomes, and ensure alignment with organisational priorities and compliance requirements.
A key aspect of this role will be influencing diverse business units to adopt creative and strategic approaches to meeting their needs, particularly where budget ownership resides within those units. You will also build procurement capability across the organisation, navigating complex governance frameworks and a dynamic market environment.
Your focus will be on delivering value for money, managing risk, and empowering colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for the department.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of NSW Government procurement policies and procedures.
- Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Enjoys autonomy and demonstrates proficiency in working independently, taking initiative, and making decisions.
- This role supports multiple business divisions but predominantly supports the Corporate and Enabling Services Division and ICT team, where your ICT sourcing or category management expertise will make a meaningful impact.
