Co-Founder

Apply now

Novadaur works to make sure transformational technology serves people instead of harming them. AI and clean energy are two sides of the same mission. Both can reshape lives for the better, and both need responsible leadership to get there. We're not trying to slow down progress. We're trying to guide it so it benefits everyone, not just the people who build it.

We're early stage and unfunded right now. We need a co-founder who can build the relationships and raise the money that gets this work off the ground.

What you'd own

You'd lead fundraising and external relationships. That means finding and building relationships with funders, joining coalition and partner calls, and representing Novadaur in rooms our founder can't always be in. You'd work closely with the founder on strategy, but fundraising and networking is yours to drive.

Who we're looking for

  • Proven experience in fundraising, development, coalition building, or nonprofit growth, especially in climate, tech policy, or AI advocacy spaces
  • Existing relationships with funders, foundations, or philanthropic networks
  • Comfortable with digital tools and fast-moving remote coordination. This role runs on video calls and shared docs, so you can't need a lot of hand-holding on new tools
  • Background in marketing or communications is a plus
  • Experience with climate campaigns or social justice organizations is a plus
  • Believes technology, including AI, can do real good when it's built and governed well. This isn't the role for someone who sees all tech as harmful

Location and hours

You can be based anywhere in the world. You need to commit 5-10 hours a week, and be available for calls between 9am and 5pm ET, since that's when our founder and most partner organizations operate.

Time and pay

This role is volunteer-based, with the opportunity to grow into a compensated leadership position as we raise funding and build organizational capacity.

What you'll gain

A founding role in an organization tackling AI risk and clean energy access together. Real influence early, before titles and structure are locked in. Direct partnership with the founder on strategy, not just execution.

What this isn't

This isn't a governance seat. Formal authority still sits with the Sole Member and Board under our bylaws. The co-founder title is informal for now. We'll formalize it, including what decision-making power comes with it, once someone's in the role.
