Role Description The Salesperson role at Nova Renewables is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB. In this role, the Salesperson will identify and qualify prospective residential and, conduct consultations, and present tailored solar and energy solutions that align with customer needs and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotes, coordinating with project and installation teams, and guiding customers through financing options and the end-to-end sales process. The Salesperson will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, follow up on leads, nurture long-term relationships, and represent the company at local events or community outreach initiatives. This role also involves staying informed about industry trends, incentives, and regulations to provide clear, informed guidance to customers.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, and closing abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Basic knowledge of solar energy systems, renewable energy, or related technical fields, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Competence in using CRM software, productivity tools, and digital platforms to track leads and manage the sales process.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities and follow-ups concurrently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local customer meetings and on-site visits.
- Previous experience in sales, especially in energy, construction, home services, or technology sectors, is an asset.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is considered an advantage.
