We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and fulfil this role on a full-time basis, working 5 days per week.
Nottingham Energy Partnership is an award-winning charity specialised in tackling fuel poverty and climate change through home-retrofitting. Working for us has great benefits. As well as competitive pay, good leave-entitlement and access to a generous pension scheme, we strive to create an enjoyable, inclusive and progressive work culture where everyone is supported.
In return, we are looking for someone with great customer service skills and a passion for helping people in fuel poverty to get the help they need to make their homes and lives more comfortable, healthy, and affordable.
The ideal candidate:
- Do you want a rewarding position where you can make a positive impact by helping vulnerable people stay warm and healthy in the face of rising energy costs?
- Do you have experience organising or delivering workshops or presentations?
- Can you give people friendly advice in person or on the phone?
- Do you understand what’s required to deliver services on time and to budget?
- Do you have excellent administrative skills?
- Do you have a flexible and organised approach?
If so, we want to hear from you! With flexible working options among an array of benefits, you’ll be supported to grow and thrive in your role.
About the Role:
This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in operational delivery of our charitable services. With a focus on delivery of the Nottingham City Healthy Housing Service, you will work alongside other Project Support Officers to ensure vulnerable householders get easy access to the help they need. As a Project Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders - organising meetings to raise awareness of our services, giving advice about the ways people can reduce energy use and living costs, handling enquiries and referrals, helping people access the support they need, finding out and reporting the outcomes.
Good communication skills are a must, alongside a proactive approach to problem solving. Previous experience in a similar role delivering presentations, providing quality administrative and customer service support would be desirable and would make you a valuable contribution to our small, friendly and dedicated team.
Closing date: Thursday the 29th of October, 2026 (23:59)
Interviews will be held in the week commencing Monday the 9th of November, 2026.
