The Marketing / Communications Department Coordinator is the glue that binds the team together. This person is responsible for calendaring, coordination and project management of the team of 11, from communications to public relations to marketing to creative services. Ability to manage calendars, project management software vital. Multi-disciplined, task-oriented, ability to deal with the excitement and challenge of a startup environment and understanding department initiatives, goals and objectives.
  • Keep department and project calendar
  • Validate key messaging
  • Daily review of press mentions
  • Track and coordinate speaking engagements, internal comms and creative requests
  • Weekly dashboard reporting assistance
  • Assist with approval process for internal and external comms
  • Manage media lists
  • Weekly MailChimp internal audience list updates
  • Support inbox customer service management
  • Assist with managing brand messaging across all internal and external channels
  • Research and development of processes, implementation, training/execution and metrics/analytics.
  • Develop and implement of marketing team processes
  • Develop and maintain trust between internal stakeholders, agency resources, and marketing team members to collaborate effectively
  • Support program-level roadmaps for marketing initiatives
  • Assist with uncovering market insights and research reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams on digital marketing plans to execute campaigns
  • Review digital marketing strategy metrics to ensure plan supports all functions and intended objectives
  • Propose new ideas and channels with a focus on constant optimization and continuous improvement
  • Manage invoicing and Accounts Payable

  • Associates Degree required
  • 2 years experience
  • Strong research & analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload by remaining nimble to change.
  • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Adept at working in a dynamic environment and consistently able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable taking the initiative with minimal direction and can recommend sound and creative solutions to challenges that arise.
  • Proficient administrative skills using Outlook calendar and docs.

Technical Skills:
  • Mac literate and strong technical skills including a proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Cision, Muck Rack, Click-Up and social media management tools a plus

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
