Sales Intern
We are looking for someone to help us expand beyond Switzerland and build their own sales pipeline from scratch.
Niatsu is a cleantech Data as a Service startup bringing transparency to emissions in the food industry. We combine sustainability data and technology to make supply chain emissions measurable for food manufacturers. Food accounts for more than 30 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, yet companies still lack actionable data. At Niatsu, you will help sell a scalable climate data platform that enables better decisions across the food sector.
Tasks
As a Sales Intern at Niatsu, you own your pipeline from day one. You generate leads, build relationships and push opportunities from first contact to closing. You aim to grow accounts from zero to one hundred. You follow up relentlessly, challenge objections and keep moving even when you hear no or receive no response.
Main Tasks:
- Develop and execute structured outbound strategies, including linkedin outreach, email and cold calling.
- Take full ownership of complex B2B sales cycles across Europe, from first contact to signed contract.
- Build, manage and close a your own pipeline of food industry clients outside of Switzerland.
- Leverage and expand your existing network in the food industry to unlock strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with the founders to shape go to market strategy and close large, strategic accounts.
- Take responsibility for growth and help make Niatsu a leading climate intelligence platform in Europe.
Side Tasks:
- Prepare materials for sales and founders in other matters.
- Plan and execute events and webinars for potential clients
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious sales intern who wants to support the growth of Niatsu. You should not take no for an answer, be good with people, have a natural flair for selling and be structured. If you are committed to sustainability and want to make a positive impact on the environment while also having an entrepreneurial mindset, you are a great fit.
Must Have:
- Full professional fluency in German and English, written and spoken, is required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Switzerland
- Passion for sustainability, climate action, and food systems.
- Background in business, economics, sustainability, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills: you empathize, listen, and naturally connect with people.
- Nice to have:
- Previous sales experience
- Network of people in the Swiss and European sustainability and food industry.
- Familiarity with climate change frameworks (e.g., Net Zero, SBTi, climate neutrality, GHG Protocol).
