DevOps Engineer (Azure & AKS) – Green Energy | Berlin (Hybrid)


A fast-growing green energy company in Berlin is building digital platforms that optimize renewable energy assets, improve grid efficiency, and accelerate decarbonization across Europe.

To scale a modern, cloud-native infrastructure, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure and AKS expertise to support and evolve our platform.


Your Impact

You won’t just ship pipelines — you’ll help power wind farms, solar assets, battery systems, and smart grid solutions.

Your infrastructure will support:

  • Real-time energy data processing
  • Optimization of renewable generation
  • Monitoring of distributed energy assets
  • Scalable analytics for sustainability reporting

Clean infrastructure for clean energy.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing and operating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
  • Managing and scaling Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters in production
  • Building secure, automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep)
  • Improving observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Ensuring high availability, security, and compliance standards
  • Optimizing performance and cloud costs at scale
  • Collaborating closely with data engineers and energy domain experts


What You Bring

  • Strong hands-on Azure experience in production environments
  • Deep Kubernetes expertise (AKS ideally)
  • Experience with Docker and container-based architectures
  • Infrastructure as Code mindset (Terraform preferred)
  • Passion for automation, reliability, and clean architecture
  • Fluent English and German

Nice to have:

  • Experience in energy, utilities, IoT, or industrial systems
  • Experience with real-time data streaming or telemetry platforms
  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, etc.)
