About Nexar Dynamics


Nexar Dynamics is building an AI-powered intelligent recycling platform designed for offices, hotels, universities, airports, and large commercial facilities.

Our flagship product, the XI Core Device, combines Computer Vision, Robotics, Material Processing, and Sustainability Reporting into a single intelligent platform capable of transforming how organizations manage recyclable waste.

We are currently moving from concept validation to MVP development and are looking for a hands-on engineer who will help us source, build, and validate our very first working prototype.

This is an early-stage founding position with equity compensation.


Your Mission


As our Founding Hardware & Manufacturing Engineer, your mission is to help transform the XI Core Device from a concept into a working MVP.

You will work closely with the founders, Prototype Development Lead, Industrial Designer, and Computer Vision team to identify the right components, communicate with suppliers, source hardware, support prototype assembly, and continuously improve the product through practical engineering decisions.

This role is focused on building our first prototype—not managing large-scale production operations.


Responsibilities


  • Research and evaluate hardware components for the MVP.
  • Identify and communicate with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Request quotations (RFQs) and compare technical proposals.
  • Support the creation and continuous improvement of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Recommend practical and cost-effective hardware solutions.
  • Coordinate prototype component sourcing and purchasing activities.
  • Support prototype assembly and hardware integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams throughout product iterations.
  • Maintain supplier documentation and sourcing records.
  • Support investor demonstrations and pilot preparation activities.


Preferred Experience


We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Robotics Engineering
  • Hardware Development
  • Prototype Development
  • Product Development


Technical Background


Experience in one or more of the following is considered a strong advantage:


  • Hardware prototyping
  • Component sourcing and supplier communication
  • Mechanical design
  • CAD software (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape or similar)
  • Robotics or automation systems
  • Rapid prototyping

Nice to Have


  • Previous startup experience.

Compensation


This is currently an equity-based founding position.


As one of the earliest members of Nexar Dynamics, you will receive meaningful equity participation and play an important role in building our first product.

Future cash compensation will be introduced as the company progresses through funding and commercial milestones.
