Deputy Event Lead

to join our Operations Event Team in our Refinery in Tuas .

You will focus on planning & preparing our Refinery for a Safe Turnaround. . In this job you will work closely with not only with the different stakeholders within Neste but also together with our external partners.

More About The Job

Your role in our team

Responsible to plan, prepare and execution of events related to Operations including operations resource planning for designated unit(s). Events are defined as:

  • Turn-arounds (TA)
  • Major Unit Shut-Downs (SD)
  • Major maintenance activities i.e. Tank-inspections.

(Pre)Commissioning and initial start-up of capital investment projects

  • Back-up Event team member in Turn-arounds and Unit Shut-downs
  • Responsible and monitoring TA/SD execution and instruct shift teams accordingly and reporting progress
  • Liaison of Operations to 3rd parties/suppliers related to operations support for preparing and execution of Turn-arounds and Shut-downs assigned by Operations Event Lead
  • Responsible (within Operations) for optimizing the Shut-down & Start-up Schedule .
  • Responsible for creating New NMS that optimize Turnaround & Shut Down .
  • Responsible for review of Shift Team Operations Shut Down Instruction to ensure all the scope are covered in the instructions
  • Responsible to communicate and train shift teams related to events
  • Work closely with all Internal & External stakeholders.

  • Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • We value a proven track record. Candidate will be considered based on an equivalent combination of education & relevant work experience
