Submission of an application constitutes acknowledgment that you are applying for employment with Neogenyx Fuels LLC Additional information is available here: Neogenyx has an opportunity for an Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our Team at the Woodland Meadows High BTU gas process facility, located in Canton, MI. The Plant process includes numerous motor driven compressors, Blowers, pumps and ambient oil and gas coolers. Process also includes several media filled process vessels, valves, Chiller, filter systems and various gas analyzer and monitoring equipment. The plant is operated 24/7/365 to provide processed HBTU gas to a utility pipeline. The individual would be required to work an 8 hour a day weekly shift plus after hours and weekend callout responsibilities as required. This position requires hands on accurate and accountable performance of all necessary duties to ensure safe and complaint operations. Ensure the plant operates efficiently and within specified parameters, monitoring and controlling equipment and systems. Conduct regular inspections, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Work closely with maintenance teams and operations to schedule and execute maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Prepare reports on plant performance, maintenance activities, and compliance metrics for management review. Diagnose and resolve operational issues, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the plant. Develop and implement training programs for operators to ensure they are proficient in their roles. Prioritize safety in all aspects of plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues that arise. Effectively communicate with operators, maintenance personnel, and management, providing timely updates and information. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, regulatory and jurisdictional hazardous material and safety standards, practices, codes. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years equipment operations experience using mechanical, electrical, instrument or control system skills. High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience in lieu of diploma. Additional Qualifications: Experience performing mechanical maintenance on blowers, compressors, and equipment is desirable. Experience with Gas Processing or similar systems desirable. Understanding of PLC, electrical power equipment, and gas plant operations experience desirable. Basic knowledge electrical and electronic testing equipment. Basic computer skills including e-mail and data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel. Experience Supervising Operations and Maintenance personnel. Experience Planning, Scheduling and Directing plant maintenance outages. Strong verbal, written, computer communication and organization skills.
