? Wanted: A Co-Founder Who Can Sell the End of Diesel (and Make It Sound Easy)
Ever looked at a loud, polluting diesel generator chugging away in the middle of nowhere and thought, "There has to be a better way"? Same. That's why we built Nebith.
Nebith is a UK-based energy startup born out of Carbon13, on a mission to kill off-grid diesel. Clean power, zero upfront cost for customers, no more dirty generators.
The team so far? Two technical co-founders with 25 years in energy and renewables. We can build the thing (in fact, we are putting together our MVP as we speak). We need someone who can sell it, fund it, and make sure the world notices.
We're looking for a Commercial Co-Founder — the kind of person who gets genuinely excited about commercial strategies, who is comfortable switching mid-sentence from physical pipelines to sales pipelines, and who can charm a customer while we're busy arguing about kilowatts.
The role:
- Raise our seed round (and actually enjoy doing it). Extra brownie points if you’ve done it before
- Find and land early customers who are burning diesel and wish they weren't
- Identify new markets and use cases
- Own the commercial strategy — pricing, positioning, go-to-market, the whole lot
You:
- Have built or scaled a venture before
- Know how to raise money and close deals
- Actually care about clean energy, not just for show on LinkedIn
- You can argue your point, back it up, and turn it into a plan before lunch
- You can explain what we do in one sentence (we still can't)
- You think "let's just build it and they will come" is a terrible plan (it is)
- Bonus: you've got a network in procurement across energy or energy-adjacent industries. If "I know a guy" is your superpower, we want to talk
