Job Description
The Research Fellow will work on research projects related to energy systems modeling and climate policy analysis, with a focus on decarbonization pathways in Southeast Asia and social cost of carbon analysis.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Developing and applying integrated energy and climate models to evaluate net-zero transitions.
- Supporting data analysis and model development in R/Python.
- Contributing to academic publications and research reports.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams and external partners.
- Possess a PhD in engineering, economics, public policy, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Experience in modeling and data analysis (e.g., R, Python).
- Familiarity with electricity or hydrogen systems modeling, social cost of carbon estimation, or integrated assessment models is preferred.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Open to fixed-term contract
