As a Contract Commercial Manager, you’ll play a key part in unlocking the full potential of our land and property assets, ensuring we deliver safe, effective, and efficient property services that support our strategic objectives.

As a valued member of the Contract Management team, you’ll take the lead on managing contractual changes and driving commercial negotiations with confidence and expertise. Your work will directly influence high-profile services and projects, from managing commercial variations across service contracts, supporting NEC contracts and scoping tenders, to facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings. What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with the Lead Contract Manager, Contract Managers, and operational teams to foster strong partnerships and seamless cross-functional working.
  • Manage contracts and supply chain relationships (e.g., Facilities Management service providers), ensuring value-driven arrangements and effective commercial leadership.
  • Oversee contractual scope, costs, and changes, securing approvals from senior stakeholders
  • Maintaining contract and scope accuracy.
  • Advise Project Manager on NEC contract drafting,
  • Drive performance by managing and analysing data e.g. KPIs, risk and financials
  • Relationship management across contracts
  • Champion best practice, upskill teams, and ensure consistent, high-quality supplier delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, promoting safety, innovation, and efficiency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and Procurement on tenders and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to internal and legislative requirements.
  • Work closely with Finance to develop accurate budgets and forecasts for service contracts.
  • Support audits and other contract management activities as needed.

What You’ll Have

  • Proven experience in contract management and driving commercial change, ideally in Projects or Facilities Management.
  • Strong skills in analysing contract data to boost performance and support decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills including Excel/ Power Bi. (with an interest in improving ways of working through systems and AI)
  • Ability to build and maintain impactful stakeholder relationships.
  • Expertise in assessing supplier capabilities and ensuring business alignment.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels, including senior leaders.
  • Broad experience across property-related contracts, especially Facilities Management.
  • Knowledge of service mobilisation and contract scope changes.
  • Ideally energy or utilities sector and/ or multiple sites exposure
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with NEC contract management is desirable but not mandatory.

What You'll Get

A competitive salary between £50,000 - £57,000 per annum – dependent on capability

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
