Transformation Manager - NESO
About the role
National Energy System Operator's (NESO) strength lies in our people, shaping a future where clean, affordable energy is accessible for all. Every day offers an opportunity to make a real difference, accelerating sustainable GB energy progress and keeping society thriving.
Are you passionate about driving transformative change and achieving tangible results? NESO seeks a dynamic Transformation Manager to drive strategic transformation initiatives and foster innovation across our organisation.
In this key role, you will develop and execute our transformation portfolio. Your focus will be on impactful, service- and people-focused projects, including target operation model and service design, rather than solely single large programmes.
We need someone who can operate effectively between strategy and delivery, bridging processes, people, and technology with a blend of strategic insight and hands-on experience.
We seek candidates with extensive cross-sector experience (not limited to energy) in shaping and delivering significant process and people transformations. Experience in Organisational Design (OD), Service Design or Operating Model projects is highly advantageous, as is a background in working with enabling functions, public sector transformation, or consultancy.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills are paramount; you'll collaborate with senior management to secure support for transformation by effectively engaging people, understanding business needs, and persuasively guiding change.
This role can be based in Wokingham or Warwick, offering hybrid working with an expectation to spend one day per week at your allocated office location, with support needed at specific times and places depending on programme requirements.
If you are a critical thinker who thrives in a problem-solving environment and is eager to make a substantial impact in this exciting energy industry, we invite you to apply and join us on our transformation journey.
Together, we can shape the future of NESO and drive meaningful change!
