Primary Job Summary

The Senior IT User Support is responsible for ensuring reliable IT operations and end-user support across Geoclima’s sites, in alignment with global company standards.

The role covers advanced user support, IT infrastructure assistance, system and access administration, hardware/software lifecycle management, and coordination with internal and external IT stakeholders. It plays a key role in maintaining efficient, secure, and continuous IT services for all employees.

Duties And Responsibilities

IT Operations & User Management

  • Manage IT for all employees in Geoclima’s sites, adopting and applying global company standards
  • Create, maintain, and manage user accounts, permissions, and system access rights


Hardware & Software Management

  • Procure, configure, and deploy IT equipment (PCs, laptops, mobile devices)
  • Software and application installation and management


Infrastructure & Systems Support

  • Support IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, and connected systems
  • Maintain office IT equipment such as printers, videoconferencing systems, and peripherals
  • End user support, network troubleshooting
  • Vendor/Contractors management


Data Security & Backup

  • Ensure data integrity, availability, and security through backup procedures and IT security best practices


Skills And Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proven experience in advanced troubleshooting of PCs, servers, applications, and networks
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of IT systems


Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Native or equivalent level in Italian language and professional English proficiency are mandatory
