Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Member of the Product Management team within Munters AirTech Business Area you will have a key role in developing, introducing and maintaining a successful and strategic important portfolio of products and services at Munters. This is an exciting business-oriented role that combines strategic thinking and product management in a market leading company in the humidity control technology (HCT) industry. It is also an opportunity to be part of shaping a growth journey with Munters AirTech.

You will work cross-functionally to develop impactful and innovative revenue-generating products and services by driving product ideation, product requirements, value propositions, business cases, and solid go-to-market strategies together with the team.

You will join a dynamic environment and the role requires you to work with global cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to ensure the Product Portfolio is profitable and the roadmap is in line with AirTech strategy.

An understanding of industrial B2B is desired and a strong business acumen as well as understating of sustainability is a must. You have great people management and organizing skills and communicate with ease both verbally and in writing. Proven track record in working successfully across departments to achieve a goal is a plus. English is required, other languages are an advantage. Our ideal candidate has a natural drive and a willingness to change, as well as a strong customer focus with a pro-active can-do attitude.

You will report to the manager of EMEA Product Management who is a part of the AirTech Global Product Management team.

The position requires some travel internationally. We encourage applicants from any location with a Munters office or manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the product life cycle.
  • Interact with Sales and customers to understand current and future needs.
  • Evaluate market needs and give directions to R&D on product modifications and upgrades, and new product developments.
  • Initiate new product development projects, ensure alignment with the strategy and secure that deadlines are met.
  • Support the AirTech strategies by creating clear product strategy and roadmap.
  • Communicate the roadmap to key stakeholders and work with Marketing, Sales, Service sales, Operations and R&D to derivate a strong value proposition.
  • Keep up-to-date and improve product marketing material and content to highlight the values of the product portfolio for the respective targeted market segments.
  • Increase product profitability throughout the product life cycle, including services products such as spare parts, service kits & upgrade solutions.
  • Provide high-level technical support for a wide range of products.
  • Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and applications, to support and increase competency within our sales organization.


Education /Knowledge/ Skills / Ability

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business administration or similar work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in B2B commercial or industrial HVAC industry in Product Application Management or R&D.
  • Experience from working in a global matrix organization.
  • A strong business acumen and a high-level of technical knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills in multicultural environment.
  • Team player with ‘Can do’ attitude, strong customer focus and drive for results.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills and communicate with ease both verbally and in writing.
  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus.
