Sustainability Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Manager to join a leading multinational FMCG organisation.

This role will play a key part in developing and implementing the organisation's national sustainability strategy, while also supporting a wider international sustainability function.

As the successful candidate, you will work closely with senior management and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to embed sustainability across the business and strengthen its sustainability credentials.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and implement the organisation's sustainability strategy
• Track performance against key sustainability metrics and targets
• Manage annual sustainability reporting and accreditation
• Support compliance with sustainability legislation and reporting requirements
• Partner with customers, suppliers, producers and other external stakeholders
• Advise senior management on emerging sustainability legislation and trends
• Lead the internal sustainability working group
• Support wider international sustainability initiatives and projects
• Champion sustainable practices across the organisation

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience in a sustainability role
• Experience within FMCG, retail, agribusiness or a similar sector is advantageous
• Strong understanding of sustainability reporting, metrics and regulatory requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across a wider international organisation
