Investment Analyst - Renewables Sector
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Investment Analyst to join a growing Green Energy & Infrastructure Projects team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically strong finance professional to gain exposure to a broad range of transactions across the energy, utilities, infrastructure and wider real assets sectors. Previous experience within energy or infrastructure is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses.
- Conduct detailed financial, commercial and market analysis.
- Assist with due diligence processes and transaction documentation.
- Support risk assessment and mitigation analysis across live transactions and investment opportunities.
- Analyse financial statements, operating metrics and investment opportunities.
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, investors, advisors and other stakeholders throughout transaction processes.
- Monitor sector trends and market developments across infrastructure and energy markets.
Requirements
- Recently qualified ACA, CFA or equivalent.
- Approximately 3–6 years’ experience within investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, deal advisory or a commercial finance role.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Exposure to energy, renewables, utilities or infrastructure is desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
