Join our Group Downstream Renewable Fuels team and help drive MOL Group's renewable fuels strategy by developing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and navigating the rapidly evolving regulatory and market environment.

? What You'll Be Doing

As a Renewable Feedstock & Quota Trader, you will be responsible for managing renewable fuel supply on a Group level, with a particular focus on co-processing feedstocks and transportation-related credits and quotas.

Your responsibilities will include-

  • Developing a deep understanding of renewable feedstock markets, including commercial, technical, and regulatory aspects across the entire value chain.
  • Leading the development and execution of MOL Group's co-processing feedstock trading strategy in cooperation with relevant business and functional stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers, market participants, and industry stakeholders to secure market intelligence and identify new business opportunities.
  • Managing tenders for co-processing feedstocks, transportation-related credits and quotas (e.g. GHG and ETS II quotas), and other biofuel components when required.
  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier negotiations, contracting, communication, and invoicing activities.
  • Identifying and developing new commercial opportunities that support MOL Group's renewable fuels ambitions.
  • Preparing market analyses and strategic recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Monitoring and assessing the impact of EU and national regulatory developments related to renewable feedstocks, biofuels, and transportation-related quota systems.
  • Cooperating closely with refineries, trading, strategy, sustainability, regulatory, and other business functions across the MOL Group.
  • Representing the company at industry conferences, professional forums, and relevant working groups.

? What We're Looking For

? Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commodity trading, renewable fuels, biofuels, or sustainability-related business areas.
  • Knowledge of feedstock markets, renewable fuel regulations, and transportation-related quota systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain, refining, or energy market dynamics.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and commercial partners.
  • Familiarity with EU renewable energy and decarbonization regulations.

? Technical Skills

  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with market analyses, commercial evaluations, and business reporting tools.
