The Production Team Leader is responsible for assisting the supervisor for overall production and output efficiency of assigned lines.

The Production Team Leader is responsible for assisting the supervisor for overall production and output efficiency of assigned lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist supervisor in meeting production requirements by identifying limiting factors that inhibit production and recommending measures to improve production methods.
- Coordinates activities of area employees to maintain production levels ensuring timely set- ups, changeovers, etc.
- Troubleshoots emerging production oriented problems as they arise within the area and communicates issues to supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
- Enforces all company safety rules. Ensures conformance to quality and safety standards.
- Responsible for shift reporting and other documentation applicable to assigned area (PCV, production report, SPC chart, etc.).
- Fills in for employees when necessary and appropriate.
- Trains and instructs employees as necessary ensuring standardized work.
- Supports and upholds management decisions.
- Troubleshoots emerging production oriented problems as they arise on the floor.
- Maintains safe, clean and orderly work area.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-5 years of manufacturing experience on the production floor.
- Possess computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- May require travel for Company training.
