This is a Day Shift Position from 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
This role will be based at our 7007 84 St SE location in Calgary Alberta.

This role will be based at our 7007 84 St SE location in Calgary Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
As an SNB Operator, you will be accountable to:
- Measure and mark sheet metal according to the drawings.
- Shear, notch, cut, bend, punch different types of metal.
- Operate metalworking machines such as Shear, brake, and notcher (Training can be provided)
- Maintain records of consumption documents.
- Carry out preventative measures.
- Employee is responsible to perform the above mentioned, and any other tasks assigned to them in a safe manner and in accordance with our Health & Safety Policies, JHA’s & SWP’s.
- Employee is responsible to understand and follow all Company Policies and Rules.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must demonstrate organizational skills and be able to work independently.
- Must exhibit safe work practices.
- Must be willing to work in other areas of our facility as required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment an asset
- Must be able work OT on weekdays and weekends when required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with Co-Workers, Team Leads, Supervisors, Engineering, Quality and Health & Safety.
- Comfortable working in loud environments (hearing protection required).
- Steel toed boots (CSA Approved 6’ in height or greater) required.
- General understanding of engineering and sheet metal principles.
- Ability to use various hand & power tools (drills, grinders, chop saws, band saws, measuring tape, etc.).Knowledge and understanding of material gauges.
- Ability to read a tape measure, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Must have basic computer and math skills
- Safety Requirement – Respirator Use: This position may involve tasks requiring the use of a respirator. In accordance with occupational health and safety standards, all employees must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to the face to ensure proper fit and protection. Compliance with this requirement is mandatory for employment in this role.
