We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee Modine Heating product sales in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the HVAC industry and a proven track record of driving sales growth of engineered solutions. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a network of independent sales representatives, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including specifying engineers, architects, and mechanical contractors. Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Strategy
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth for Modine's heating products.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives within the region.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including key accounts and strategic clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise & Support
- Serve as the technical expert for Modine's heating products in the region.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team, representatives, and customers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address customer needs.
- Market Analysis
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform and adapt sales strategy.
- Contract & Deal Management
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing approvals, and deal structuring within the region.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Based in Canada, proficiency speaking French and English is required.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles. Proven ability to sell technical products and solutions.
- Proven success managing sales teams and achieving regional revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical skills to assess sales data, market trends, and team performance.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Experience in managing independent sales representatives, and key customer accounts.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as required.
