Role Description The Design Drafter role at MK Renewables Energy is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The Design Drafter will prepare detailed technical, engineering, and architectural drawings for renewable energy and related infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable standards and specifications. Daily tasks include developing and revising CAD models and drawings, coordinating with engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements, and incorporating feedback into updated layouts and plans. The role involves organizing drawing files, maintaining documentation, and supporting tender and project proposals with clear and precise design outputs. The Design Drafter will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to help optimize designs for constructability, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings as per project requirements.
  • Prepare and revise Civil, Electrical, Structural and Solar drawings.
  • Develop shop drawings, layout plans, SLDs and as-built drawings.
  • Make revisions according to engineering requirements and site conditions.
  • Coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers and site teams for drawing-related matters.
  • Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and project documentation.
  • Ensure drawings are prepared accurately and according to approved specifications.
  • Perform any other drafting-related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Diploma / DAE in Civil, Electrical, Architecture or relevant field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in drafting, preferably in Solar/EPC, Construction or Engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and other relevant design/drafting software will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of technical drawings, measurements and engineering standards.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the project team.
  • Willingness to visit project sites when required.
