Our Opportunity
We're looking for a Director, Climate Transition to join Mirvac's Sustainability team.
We've built a strong body of work across climate transition, resilience, nature, and environmental performance, and established a clear strategic direction.
The opportunity now is to integrate that work, monitor progress, and help us navigate the next generation of climate-related opportunities, risks, and decisions.
Reporting to the Group General Manager, Sustainability, you'll lead our climate transition programme and the environment team. You'll help ensure our climate, resilience, nature, and environmental priorities remain commercially credible, clearly communicated, appropriately governed, and capable of being monitored over time.
You'll be part of a strong, diverse community of practice in our internal Sustainability Network. You'll also closely with Investments, Asset Management, Development, Finance, and Risk, helping connect existing technical work to business decisions, executive discussions, and Board oversight.
In this role you will:
- Lead the evolution and oversight of Mirvac's climate transition programme and transition plan.
- Evolve our climate, resilience, nature, offsets, and disclosure requirements approach.
- Translate complex topics into clear decisions, trade-offs, risks, and priorities for leaders.
- Oversee the environment team and help ensure priorities, resources, and delivery plans remain aligned and achievable.
- Identify emerging strategic issues and test existing approaches against changing market, policy, customer, and climate scenarios.

You'll likely bring experience in climate transition, resilience, sustainability, property, investment, or a related field within a large organisation.

- Builds trust quickly and welcomes diversity of thought.
