Job Description:
We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Project and Facilities Lead to manager the day-to-day operations and long-term evolution of our client in Englewood Cliffs, including our upcoming office renovation project.
Serve as the primary steward of the physical workspace, ensuring seamless operations, enabling innovation in technical environments, and driving transformation that reflects our brand, culture, and business ambitions.
Responsibilities:
Daily Operations & Facilities Oversight
Respond to and resolve ad hoc facilities inquiries from employees with speed and professionalism.
Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality across all workspaces.
Coordinate building communications and contingency planning in the event of disruptions or emergencies.
Project Coordination
Develop and present proposals that reflect client operational needs, brand identity, and employee experience goals.
Ensure all space planning incorporates safety, sustainability, and compliance—especially within lab and pilot plant zones.
Partner with R&D, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), and Engineering teams to maintain high-performing, compliant technical environments.
Coordinate with Sodexo and internal stakeholders to support equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, and layout optimization.
Manage vendor relationships for specialized services (e.g., HVAC, compressed air, lab utilities, waste disposal).
Ensure adherence to EH&S protocols and support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with internal teams, including HR, IT, WPS, and leadership.
Collaborate effectively with external teams, including CBRE, Sodexo, and architect/design teams.
Act as the voice of the client in all workplace-related matters.
Communicate updates, changes, and improvements clearly and proactively.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace services, or corporate real estate, ideally within a Client or technical environment.
Proven ability to lead office transformations, renovations, or lab/pilot plant upgrades.
Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
Experience supporting R&D or technical environments, with working knowledge of lab infrastructure and compliance standards.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working with external partners such as CBRE, Sodexo, and architectural or engineering firms.
Familiarity with global workplace standards and cross-functional collaboration.
