The Role:
Under the direction of the HR Director, the Human Resource Manager Late Shift is responsible for managing the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department for the night shift personnel and supports day shift personnel. This includes executing policies, employee relations, executing workforce planning, employee development, EPM, TM, SP, retention, on-boarding of night shift personnel, off-boarding, supporting recruiting activities, payroll & benefits and training initiatives.
Your contribution to our vision (responsibilities):
- Manages routine HR functions for night shift personnel and supports day shift as needed.
- Executes policies.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Employee relations.
- Gives guidance and supports supervisors on employee management, performance, corrective action, time and attendance matters.
- Workforce planning, development, EPM, TM, SP.
- On-boarding and off-boarding.
- Supports recruiting activities, payroll, benefits and training as needed.
- Attends job fairs as needed.
- Prepares reports.
- Available over the weekend for matters needing immediate attention.
- Back-up for Director of HR.
- Special projects as assigned by supervisor.
You bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Positive attitude and common sense.
- Excellent communication skills in person (including presentation) and writing.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Relationship management.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
A PLUS:
- Experience with HRMS.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking System.
- Spanish language.
