?About the role

As Founder’s Associate, you’ll work directly with our CEO to help scale every part of the business from sales to marketing, operations and hiring. We see the Founder’s Associate as playing a critical role in pushing commercial growth and augmenting operational efficiency. It’s a generalist role: the most successful person will be comfortable wearing multiple hats, getting stuck-in to all parts of the business and be a clear, concise communicator. We’re a lean team, ramping revenue fast and looking for someone who is excited about the energy transition and ready to get stuck in.


?Job Description

Sales & Marketing:

  • Find new market segments that could benefit from the Metris product.
  • Compile prospect lists, book and lead qualification calls.
  • Develop and track commercial KPIs to measure growth and product/ market launch success.
  • Communicate to leadership & product teams on product requirements and feed-in to roadmap.
  • Support initiatives to boost lead generation including conferences, events, content and product marketing.


Ops & Leadership Support:

  • Compile, analyze, and communicate data necessary for the CEO to make key decisions.
  • Work with the CEO to serve as the internal consultant for our operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Representing the CEO or team in external engagements where appropriate.
  • Own KPIs on business performance, identify and execute opportunities to optimise performance.
  • Identify commercial and operational bottlenecks and build scalable solutions that grow our business and market share.
  • Generally bring structure and processes to a rapidly scaling team.


Culture & Hiring:

  • Assist with hiring (particularly Ops/ Commercial): understanding team gaps, defining role objectives and sourcing talent.
  • Organise interviews, manage candidate experience, coordinate hiring decisions.
  • Assist with developing performance metrics, progression frameworks and personal growth plans for each employee.
  • Be a champion for our culture, and help us build and maintain our culture both from a values as well as processes perspective.

Ad-hoc Projects:

  • There often are ad-hoc projects that vary across scope and area, ranging from administrative work, reviewing and creating internal processes and tools, competitor research, organizing team socials and off-sites.


About You
  • 3-4 years in a Tier 1 Consultancy, Bank or VC
  • Highly analytical and high proficiency with excel: bonus financial modelling
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and hungry to get stuck in at an early stage startup
