Head of Data – Purpose-Driven Organisation

This is a greenfield role – you’ll have the autonomy to define strategy, select technologies, and build a high-performing data function from the ground up. Your work will directly influence business outcomes and help scale data capabilities for an organisation that cares deeply about people and the planet.


What You’ll Do:


  • Shape and lead the data strategy, aligning it with business goals.
  • Build scalable data architecture and pipelines to enable advanced analytics and actionable insights.
  • Establish robust data governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Partner with business units to embed data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentor and grow a team of data professionals while fostering a collaborative, insight-driven culture.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Proven experience in Proven experience in data leadership roles, with the ability to define data strategy, drive governance, and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in AWS and Databricks for data warehousing and cloud-based solutions.
  • Advanced SQL and solid Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
  • Experience designing data architecture and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data governance best practices.
