We're looking for an innovative Communications Associate with a unique combination of skills who wants to play a major role in tackling climate change.
You’ll be joining a team covering regional discourse in Asia within a global network of communications professionals working in the field of climate, energy, and nature. This position reports to the Senior Regional Communications Associate - Asia Regional Team.

How you'll contribute
- Lead the development and execution of communications strategies in the Philippines, aligned with regional priorities on energy transition
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Philippine media, think tanks, civil society organizations, and key opinion leaders
- Support and coordinate with regional campaigns by localizing messaging and identifying Philippines-specific hooks and moments
- Provide strategic communications advice to partners and internal teams, ensuring consistency and impact across outputs
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
- Experience in communications, journalism, public affairs, or advocacy, preferably in climate, energy, or development is a must
- Strong media relations and partner engagement experience, particularly in the Philippines and Southeast Asia
- Experience and knowledge of the Philippine climate, energy, and policy landscape preferred
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute impactful communications campaigns grounded in evidence and aligned with broader policy and advocacy goals, are highly desirable
- Fluency in written and spoken English, our working language; additional languages are an asset.
- A genuine interest in and passion for addressing climate change.
- The disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community of peers.
- The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across time zones using tools such as Zoom, Slack and email (Google Workspace).
