The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are seeking a Senior Value Stream Coordinator to support our growing Offsite Manufacturing team in Spokane, WA. This position will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end operational and contractual performance of a defined modular products value stream, as primary customer liaison for customer programs in execution.

The Senior Value Stream Coordinator will also ensure customer experience and align the right expectation with customer on capacity/delivery schedule/ terms and conditions.

This role leads to daily manufacturing operations for a defined value stream. Manages schedules, manpower, materials, and output to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets, coordinating throughout the value stream, integrates with manufacturing operations, supply chain, engineering and commercial alignment and is directly responsible for delivering contracts on time, to full quality expectations, and at expected margins. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Cross functional team coordination
  • Continuous improvement & innovation

What You Need To Succeed At McKinstry

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent job experience. Especially job experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 5 years of production or operations experiences. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.
  • A strong team player with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes required.
  • Ability to successfully lead a diverse team, as well as organize and manage multiple projects of varying complexity.
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Ability to utilize available resources effectively to solve problems as they occur.
  • Advanced in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio and Salesforce CRM Required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing financial programs and software required.
  • Basic estimating skills preferred.
  • RCDD, CPM professional designation is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with and manage outside vendors.
  • A highly motivated self-starter that works well without supervision. OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Certification Preferred.

The pay range for this position is $36.48 - $55.77 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
