We’re hiring an Automated Equipment Operator to support manufacturing operations onsite at McKinstry in Spokane. This is a contract to hire role where you’ll play a key part in operating specialized equipment to fabricate precision pipe components used in production.

We’re hiring an Automated Equipment Operator to support manufacturing operations onsite at McKinstry in Spokane. This is a contract to hire role where you’ll play a key part in operating specialized equipment to fabricate precision pipe components used in production.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate automated fabrication equipment such as T-Drill or CNC machines
- Fabricate precision pipe connections according to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and P&IDs
- Program CNC controls, monitor machine cycles, and make adjustments as needed
- Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment
- Ensure quality and accuracy of finished components
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Support overall production flow within the facility
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–5 years of experience in pipe fabrication or CNC machine operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Experience with T-Drill equipment (highly preferred)
- CNC certification or formal training
- OSHA 10 certification
- AWS welding certification (welding not required for this role)
- Familiarity with ASME/ASTM standards
- Fully onsite role in Spokane
- Hands-on, equipment-focused work environment
