The Opportunity with McKinstry
We’re hiring an Inventory Clerk to support onsite manufacturing and warehouse operations at McKinstry in Spokane. This contract role plays a key role in keeping materials moving, organized, and ready to support production. The estimated duration is 6–12 months, with potential for extension.

We’re hiring an Inventory Clerk to support onsite manufacturing and warehouse operations at McKinstry in Spokane. This contract role plays a key role in keeping materials moving, organized, and ready to support production. The estimated duration is 6–12 months, with potential for extension.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Receive, store, and move materials throughout the warehouse or manufacturing facility
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production or shipment
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy
- Use barcode scanners and RF equipment to track materials
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks; support forklift operations as needed
- Follow FIFO (first in, first out) inventory practices
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support overall flow of materials across the facility
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–2 years of warehouse, material handling, or similar experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Comfortable using basic technology (scanners, inventory systems, etc.)
- Forklift certification or experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with inventory processes or RF scanning
- Fully onsite role in Spokane
- Active work environment (walking, standing, lifting materials)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed
- Team-focused environment with an emphasis on safety and efficiency
