We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Energy & Technical Services (E&TS) team. This role leads the vision and delivery of the Line of Business (LOB) and/ or Corporate Service Unit (CSU) key products and product roadmaps.
The Senior Product Manager sets the technology strategy and long‑term roadmap for E&TS, ensuring Business Technology investments scale with our fast‑growing business and deliver measurable value. They partner closely with business leaders and business technology peers to define priorities, drive alignment, and make informed tradeoffs across competing needs. This role leads with strong strategic vision, deep technical understanding, and exceptional communication. They translate complex business requirements into actionable plans and lead adoption and change management across the organization.
This role provides leadership and mentorship to the Product Manager, delegating work while remaining accountable for outcomes. Success is measured through stakeholder satisfaction, workflow efficiency improvements, roadmap execution, and clear, transparent communication that builds trust and accelerates decision‑making.
This Product Management team navigates and works within a variety of software platforms to understand functionality, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. Current scope of platform support includes, but is not limited to: StaySafe Lone Worker, AkitaBox, CxAlloy, and Procore.
Location: this position is based in Seattle, WA and works a hybrid work schedule.

The pay range for this position is $99,270 - $169,900 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Lead and own major, large-scale initiatives.
- Develop and maintain portfolio product roadmaps.
- Define enhancements and features in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Produce business cases and other product deliverables, including PRDs, user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including upgrades, maintenance, and end-of-life.
- Facilitate design and user focus sessions.
- Coordinate project activities and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training sessions.
- Deliver high-quality, timely product administrative support.
- Work with LOB/CSUs, technology, and enterprise teams to enable cross-functional collaboration.
- Partner with IT, vendors, and consultants to specify, deliver, and maintain solutions and integrations.
- Gather and maintain client insights to drive innovation.
- Manage and follow up on client requests.
- Serve as a steward of McKinstry technology solutions.
- Mentor and manage assigned staff, providing performance feedback and development opportunities.
- Foster an environment that supports continuous learning.
What You Need To Succeed at McKinstry:
- 6–10 years in product management or technology solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading the vision, strategy, and delivery of key products and product roadmaps for a Line of Business (LOB) and/or Corporate Service Unit (CSU).
- Demonstrated product management and/or project management skills.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business and partner pain points, translating needs into technology-driven solutions.
- Build trust and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across teams and levels, applying product management expertise to deliver scalable solutions that improve user experience and performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate and embody McKinstry’s core values in daily work, decision-making, and collaboration.
- Comfortable navigating and working within a variety of software platforms to understand functionality, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies preferred.
- Experience supporting or working with platforms such as StaySafe Lone Worker, AkitaBox, CxAlloy, and Procore is preferred.
- Experience with capital planning and/or asset management platforms or processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including SharePoint, MS Project, and Power BI, is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
