As an experienced sales and business development professional, you will bring your intuitive skills and business expansion experience to Edo. In this role, you will drive the full lifecycle of utility sales activities to build, qualify, and manage a pipeline, as well as shape and win large opportunities./ppThe Utility Solutions Account Executive role supports relationship-building with electric utilities in North America to help grow Edos utility program business. This role is ideal for someone with early to mid-career experience in sales, technical sales, business development, or program support in the energy or utility sector, with interest in energy efficiency, demand response/flexibility, and clean energy programs./ppBeyond supporting business development activities, this role calls for basic knowledge of grid-interactive buildings, demand response, DERs, and energy efficiency programs, and a willingness to grow into a trusted contributor on DSM, customer engagement, and energy technology tools. Additional responsibilities may include:/pulliIdentify, shape and win opportunities with utilities with an annual sales target./liliSupport identification and development of opportunities with utilities, working alongside senior sales leaders./liliContribute to building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline./liliAssist with development and implementation of go-to-market strategies./liliSupport customer and partner relationship management through meetings, follow-ups, and account planning./liliRepresent Edo at conferences and industry events, including participation in utility client meetings./liliAssist in preparing responses to RFPs and RFIs, and support technical teams by gathering information and helping with basic scoping of solutions involving:/liulliBuilding automation and controls./liliHVAC and building system optimization./liliDERMS and utility demand response platform integrations./liliFlexible load management, daily load shifting, and energy efficiency efforts./li/ulliSupport the team by organizing and translating utility customer needs into actionable notes and requirements for engineering and delivery teams./liliProvide updates and reporting on sales activities to the senior sales team./li/ulpWhat You Need to Succeed at Edo/pulliBachelors degree or equivalent experience./lili24 years of experience in sales, account management, or utility/energy-related program support./liliFamiliarity with the utilities market, energy efficiency, or demand response programs strongly preferred./liliStrong organizational and communication skills./liliAbility to prepare presentations, proposals, and reports./liliComfortable working in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)./liliStandard office working conditions. Ability to sit/stand at a desk for long periods.
