The pay range for this position is $24.36 - $37.31 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is considered non-exempt and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.

The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Project Coordinator to our growing Fire Protection division in Portland, OR. In this role you will be responsible for supporting our service team through scheduling and work order management. Additional responsibilities include:
- Receive and process customer requests for inspection, maintenance, and service calls.
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance, service, and project work within given time periods.
- Schedules and manages group of technicians across all work, including communication of work details, assurance of tools/material requirements, and project expectations.
- Management and communication of work status, assuring achievement of client commitment and work success for McKinstry.
- Collaboration with Service Superintendent and Account Executives as required.
- Promote a comprehensive safety program for our department, across all work managed, and with all technicians dispatched.
- Effectively manage jobs and budgets across all horizontal offerings: Inspections, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Communicates closely with Service Manager in regard to callbacks, technician problems, unsatisfied customers, etc.
- Available an hour before and after start and/or end times to assist the team during unscheduled peak times that is required due to the nature of service work (basically 7-5 schedule flexibility).
- Reviews current service processes and then refines the methods to make them more efficient and effective for clients and McKinstry.
- Assures the efficient and complete closeout of all work managed.
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler or fire alarm systems preferred.
- Three (3) years of working in facility management, trade-based service work, or other construction industry experience highly desired.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
- Knowledge of how to properly review proposals, bids, contracts and manpower reports preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
