Our client, an industry leader in renewable energy solutions, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their dedicated team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be an essential part of the industrial department supporting solar installation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
- *Job Title:** Journeyman Electrician - Contract for 4-6 weeks
- *Location:** Pasadena, TX
- *Shift:** 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
- *What's the Job?**
- Install and replace solar inverters and optimize system components
- Pull out old solar panels and install new modules with proper tilting and balancing
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical connections and installations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and site protocols
- Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
**What's Needed?**
- Valid electrician license with solar experience preferred
- Own tools including wire cutters, pliers, strippers, drills, sawzall, and band saw
- Comfort working at heights and on rooftops.
- Ability to lift up to 32 pounds and handle tilting of solar modules weighing approximately 55 pounds
- Adherence to PPE requirements: steel toes, safety glasses, reflective vests, and gloves
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for daily site attendance
