Welder
Our client, Bloom Energy a leader in clean energy technology, is seeking a welder to join their team. As a welder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of innovative fuel cell components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the job?
- Read and interpret work instructions to determine specific welding requirements
- Weld horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Position and clamp parts together in fixtures
- Accurately count all pieces to ensure quality control of parts prior to welding
- Operate welding equipment according to operating manual
What's needed?
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1 year required experience in TIG welding
- 2-3 years working experience preferred in hands-on manufacturing practices
- Preferred valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution
- Mechanical skills and ability to use basic shop tools and equipment
