Welder
Our client, a leader in metal fabrication and structural assembly, is seeking a welder to join their dedicated team. As a welder, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting the production and maintenance of high-quality metal structures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: North Randall, OH
Pay Range: $21.5
Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm
What's the job?
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welding tools and measuring instruments
- Operate multiple welding machines to repair and maintain various metal equipment and structures
- Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine project requirements
- Set up welding machines based on specific task needs and materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to safety protocols
What's needed?
- Experience with MIG welding, especially with high heat applications
- Ability to pass a weld test demonstrating proficiency
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts
- Knowledge of using cutting tools and related equipment
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
