Welder
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a welder to join their team. As a welder, you will be part of the industrial department supporting the fabrication and repair processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Welder
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $21
Shift: 10 pm to 6 am, Sunday through Thursday overtime is scheduled prior to shift time and can be heavy including Fridays
What's the Job?
- Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and welding devices.
- Position parts according to work orders, routings, and prints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Regulate welding machines for proper current, wire feed, and gas flow to achieve optimal results.
- Ensure that the fit, function, and appearance of welds meet or exceed quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
What's Needed?
- High School diploma or equivalent. REQUIRED
- At least one (1) year of MIG and TIG welding experience. REQUIRED
- Knowledge of blueprints and welding symbols is preferred.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and solve practical fabrication problems.
