Construction Estimator - Renewable Energy 

A growing leader in the renewable energy construction space is seeking a full-time Estimator to support a rapidly expanding pipeline of clean energy projects across the U.S. These projects span solar, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator to join a high-performing team that values innovation, technical excellence, and a mission-driven approach to building a more sustainable future.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and quantify construction drawings across disciplines (Civil, Structural, Electrical, etc.)

  • Lead cost estimating efforts from concept to final proposal delivery

  • Analyze and prepare material, labor, and scheduling requirements

  • Evaluate value-engineering alternatives

  • Maintain and expand cost databases and supplier/subcontractor relationships

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, procurement, and construction operations

  • Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility

  • Contribute to project design strategy, pricing, and long-term planning

  • Support continuous improvement through post-mortem project analysis

  • Participate in vendor and subcontractor engagement to support accurate costing

  • Help evolve and optimize internal estimating processes and tools

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in solar PV, energy storage, commercial electrical projects or EV infrastructure estimating (preferred)

  • Proficiency with estimating tools such as MS Excel, Accubid, PVBid, or similar

  • Working knowledge of PVSyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD (preferred)

  • Understanding of procurement and construction processes in the renewable sector

  • Strong technical reading and drawing interpretation skills

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

  • Willingness to travel (~25%) for site evaluations

  • BS in Construction Management or similar field (preferred)

  • NABCEP Certification or TDLR License (a plus)
