Associate, Energy Transition Energy Transition Team on Infrastructure Investment Platform (~$25bn+ AUM)

Location: Houston, TX

A leading energy-focused investment platform is seeking an Associate (2 - 4 years of experience) to join its Energy Transition investment team in Houston. The group invests across renewable power, energy transition, and related infrastructure assets, partnering closely with management teams and developers on long-term value creation.

Role Overview:

The Associate will support the evaluation and execution of energy-transition investments, with a strong emphasis on power-sector financial modeling and transaction execution. Responsibilities include building and reviewing operating and valuation models, supporting diligence and Investment Committee materials, coordinating third-party advisors, and working closely with senior investors across the full investment lifecycle. Power investment banking experience and hands-on modeling expertise are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain detailed power and project-finance models
• Support deal execution across sourcing, diligence, underwriting, and IC processes
• Conduct market, regulatory, and asset-level analysis across energy-transition themes
• Coordinate with advisors, consultants, developers, and management teams
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, asset-management initiatives, and follow-on investments

Candidate Profile:

• 2 - 4 years of experience, ideally from Power / Energy Investment Banking
• Demonstrated expertise in power and project-finance modeling
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an execution mindset
• Clear interest in energy transition, infrastructure, and long-term asset investing
• Collaborative, high-integrity team player able to operate in a fast-paced environment
