Associate, Corporate Development & M&A - Power Generation

Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading diversified power generation company operating natural gas, renewable energy, and storage assets across North America. Recently recapitalized by a prominent institutional investor, they are seeking an Associate in Corporate Development & M&A to support strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support M&A transactions including target screening, financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and integration support
• Build financial models and investment memos for acquisition opportunities across gas, renewable, and storage assets
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis in target power markets
• Prepare materials for senior leadership and support strategic planning initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private equity with power generation or energy infrastructure exposure
• Strong background in power markets, generation assets, and energy transition investments
• Experience with financial modeling, valuation analysis, and M&A transaction support
• Familiarity with project finance and power purchase agreements
