Investment Associate / Senior Associate - Energy Transition

A San Francisco-based family office seeking an investment professional to support its direct infrastructure strategy, focused on power infrastructure and energy transition assets at the center of the U.S. power renaissance driven by AI demand, grid modernization, and long-term electrification.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and execute direct investments across power infrastructure, renewables, and storage
• Structure and negotiate debt and equity capital solutions including project finance, tax equity, and co-investment arrangements
• Develop and own financial models; drive investment committee processes from screening through close
• Support active portfolio management including capital allocation decisions, financing optimizations, and strategic initiatives

Background

• 2 to 4 years in infrastructure investing, project finance, or energy investment banking
• Strong modeling capabilities across project finance and M&A
• Working knowledge of power markets and capital structures
• Comfortable in a lean, principal-led environment
