Director, Enterprise Sales - Climate Solutions

This organization combines deep financial expertise, scientific rigor, and scalable climate solutions to deliver high-quality portfolios to enterprise customers. Backed by a leading global investment firm, the company is at the forefront of the voluntary carbon and broader energy transition markets.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to add a Director of Business Development to focus on enterprise client engagement and revenue expansion.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role owning the full sales cycle-from origination through execution and long-term account growth.
You'll work directly with senior stakeholders at large organizations to:
- Understand sustainability goals
- Shape decarbonization strategies
- Deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable impact
This role requires a consultative, solutions-oriented seller who can navigate complex organizations, build trust, and close sophisticated deals.
- Build and manage a pipeline of enterprise opportunities (self-sourced + inbound)
- Own the full sales cycle, including origination, deal structuring, and execution
- Partner with C-level stakeholders to align on climate and sustainability strategies
- Develop account strategies and drive long-term client expansion
- Create compelling proposals and tailored solution packages for enterprise clients
- Maintain a strong understanding of carbon markets and broader climate solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to remove blockers and accelerate deal closure
- 7-10+ years of experience in enterprise sales or business development
- Proven track record selling complex, consultative solutions to Fortune 500 clients
- Experience selling innovative or emerging products/services
- Strong ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders across large organizations
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Background or strong interest in climate, sustainability, or energy transition

- Carbon markets / environmental products / climate solutions
- ESG or sustainability-focused SaaS platforms
- Energy transition / structured energy sales (PPAs, origination, etc.)
- Enterprise software (consultative, multi-stakeholder deals)
