Project Manager - Charleston, SC

Position Overview:
A nationally recognized mechanical and industrial contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction operations in Charleston, SC. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in managing complex construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Lead project teams including field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and responsive service.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with estimating and procurement teams to support project setup and execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in mechanical or industrial sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
