Role Overview
As the Director of Electrical Engineering , you will lead the electrical engineering discipline, driving technical excellence and operational efficiency across multiple projects. This is a strategic leadership role where you will manage a team of talented engineers, oversee design standards, and ensure successful delivery of large-scale projects from concept through commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for electrical engineering design across mission-critical and high-performance facilities.
- Develop and implement design standards, quality control processes, and best practices .
- Mentor and grow a team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Partner with clients and internal teams to deliver data center, healthcare, commercial, and institutional projects on time and within budget.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for the electrical discipline.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and integrate energy-efficient and sustainable solutions into designs.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience , with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record delivering data center or mission-critical projects .
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, redundancy strategies, and applicable codes .
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage client relationships and internal teams.
