Head of Project Management

Job Title: Project Manager - Commercial Solar Projects Location: Albuquerque, NM Employment Type: Full-Time (4-Day Work Week) Overview: We're looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager to lead commercial solar projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with Journeyman-level electrical experience , strong leadership skills, and a passion for renewable energy. You'll be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications while ensuring projects meet high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of commercial solar projects Communicate professionally with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders Execute subcontractor agreements and ensure compliance Prepare RFIs, RFQs, change orders, and submittals Conduct weekly meetings and document correspondence in Buildertrend Perform site visits and coordinate inspections Collaborate with designers and engineers to produce stamped plan sets Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials Maintain project schedules and budgets Submit monthly reports for invoicing Lead construction meetings and support field teams Ensure compliance with solar, electrical, and building codes Maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements: ~ Journeyman-level electrical experience required ~3-5 years of solar or construction project management experience ~ Strong understanding of solar installation and equipment ~ Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and AHJ requirements ~ Proficiency in Buildertrend, Kojo, Microsoft Project, and Otter AI ~ Excellent time management and communication skills Perks: ~4-day work week ~ Access to industry training and development resources ~ Opportunity to contribute to a renewable future
