Position Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to take ownership of our supply chain and inventory processes. You’ll ensure the right parts and materials are in place to keep projects on schedule and operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of solar panels, batteries, electrical components, tools, and materials.
Maintain precise inventory records in our ERP/WMS; perform cycle counts and audits.
Forecast demand and reorder supplies proactively based on project schedules.
Collaborate closely with procurement, project managers, warehouse staff, and field teams.
Lead and develop warehouse and inventory personnel.
Implement SOPs to improve accuracy, efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Analyze inventory KPIs—turnover, stock levels, shrinkage; generate actionable reports.
Resolve discrepancies, backorders, or surplus stock issues.
Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials or equipment where applicable.
Coordinate logistics with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
Contribute to continuous process improvements and cost optimization.
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management.
Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
Strong forecasting, analytical, and Excel skills; familiarity with KPIs.
Leadership experience with ability to train and motivate staff.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Physical ability to manage warehouse operations, including occasional lifting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in solar, construction, electrical, or manufacturing industries.
Certification in APICS (CPIM) or equivalent supply chain credentials.
Familiarity with safety and hazardous materials handling protocols.
