Account Manager - PR Agency - Science, Climate & Innovation

Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Salary: Circa £40,000 dependent on experience

They partner with pioneering organisations tackling some of the world’s biggest challenges – from clean energy and food security to cutting-edge science and climate tech.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves media relations and enjoys translating complex topics into clear, compelling stories that make an impact.



The role

You’ll play a central role in delivering campaigns for innovative, future-focused clients while managing day-to-day relationships and driving high-quality output across accounts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading media strategy and sell-ins across national, business, tech and trade media
  • Turning complex science and technology into engaging, accessible narratives
  • Developing thought leadership campaigns, reports and insight-led content
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring consistently high standards of delivery
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  • Driving integrated campaigns across earned, owned and social channels
  • Tracking performance and demonstrating campaign impact



What they’re looking for

  • A strong grounding in media relations with a genuine interest in science, innovation or climate
  • Agency experience at Account Manager level (typically 3–4+ years)
  • Experience managing multiple clients and delivering integrated campaigns
  • Someone organised, proactive and confident working with technical subject matter
  • A natural team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative culture
  • Enthusiasm to get involved in new business and pitching
